Doubters

I remember many years ago how I had so many doubters, people who said I will never make it.

Well here I am now, age of 25, employed full time and a Masters graduate in IT.

Thanks to the doubters, I wouldn't be here without your doubts giving me the hunger to move on to bigger things in life. 👍

Game of Thrones season 8 was AWFUL !

I have been a Game of Thrones fan since the beginning of the show on HBO. It's only after the TV show I started reading the books of George R.R Martin.

As many other hardcore fans of GOT, I expected an ending that would at least make sense and answer all the unanswered questions from 2011-2019 about the plot. Sadly what I saw was a rushed, poorly written final season. The ending left fans with more questions than answers.

HBO reportedly offered the show 10 seasons but the writers (David and Dan) refused and wanted to finish it in season 8 so they could make more money out of other projects.

PEOPLE ASK ME IF I COULD HAVE WRITTEN BETTER THAN D&D FOR SEASON 8, ANSWER IS YES. David and Dan have proven themselves to be awful writers when they have no source material (books) to depend on. Part of the blame falls to George RR Martin for failing to release the final books of the series and allowing the TV show to overtake the story in the books.

THANKS FOR DESTROYING THE BRILLIANT WORK OF GEORGE R.R MARTIN

First ever vehicle restoration project - 95% done

I saw this vehicle up (Holden Commodore SVZ) for sale which was heavily abused by one of the previous owners. People said that it's "trashed and unroadworthy"and that I shouldn't buy it.

It was beyond any saving according to the mechanics I consulted but I had it determined in my mind that I will make this my first ever restoration project and bring back the car to life. The restoration is 95% done.

The color of this vehicle has an unforgettable memory and deep meaning to me which made me fall in love with the vehicle altogether. No one understood the reason behind why I spend thousands of dollars bringing this vehicle back to life, and I don't expect anyone to.

DIY Life Hack to fix dents on cars

Context : Had an elderly woman reverse into the driver side of my car at a petrol station.

Panelbeaters in my area wanted $2000 AUD to fix the damage without her insurance, and I felt bad to go through the insurance of this person considering it was unintentional and she was very apologetic.

I told her to forget about it and settled for a cash payment. She paid me what she would have had to pay for the excess of her insurance. I managed to fix 99 percent of the damage with just a toilet plunger and boiling hot water.

Outcome : Damage fixed and I managed to save her time and mine + kept her insurance record clean.
