I remember many years ago how I had so many doubters, people who said I will never make it.
Well here I am now, age of 25, employed full time and a Masters graduate in IT.
Thanks to the doubters, I wouldn't be here without your doubts giving me the hunger to move on to bigger things in life. 👍

Game of Thrones season 8 was AWFUL !
I have been a Game of Thrones fan since the beginning of the show on HBO. It's only after the TV show I started reading the books of George R.R Martin.
As many other hardcore fans of GOT, I expected an ending that would at least make sense and answer all the unanswered questions from 2011-2019 about the plot. Sadly what I saw was a rushed, poorly written final season. The ending left fans with more questions than answers.
HBO reportedly offered the show 10 seasons but the writers (David and Dan) refused and wanted to finish it in season 8 so they could make more money out of other projects.
PEOPLE ASK ME IF I COULD HAVE WRITTEN BETTER THAN D&D FOR SEASON 8, ANSWER IS YES. David and Dan have proven themselves to be awful writers when they have no source material (books) to depend on. Part of the blame falls to George RR Martin for failing to release the final books of the series and allowing the TV show to overtake the story in the books.

First ever vehicle restoration project - 95% done
It was beyond any saving according to the mechanics I consulted but I had it determined in my mind that I will make this my first ever restoration project and bring back the car to life. The restoration is 95% done.
The color of this vehicle has an unforgettable memory and deep meaning to me which made me fall in love with the vehicle altogether. No one understood the reason behind why I spend thousands of dollars bringing this vehicle back to life, and I don't expect anyone to.

DIY Life Hack to fix dents on cars
Context : Had an elderly woman reverse into the driver side of my car at a petrol station.
Panelbeaters in my area wanted $2000 AUD to fix the damage without her insurance, and I felt bad to go through the insurance of this person considering it was unintentional and she was very apologetic.
I told her to forget about it and settled for a cash payment. She paid me what she would have had to pay for the excess of her insurance. I managed to fix 99 percent of the damage with just a toilet plunger and boiling hot water.
Outcome : Damage fixed and I managed to save her time and mine + kept her insurance record clean.

Scammed
24th October 2018 is marks a remarkable day of my life which left me in shock.
My landlord stole $1200 AUD + caused approximately $2000+ in losses to my family and escaped Australia .
Reminder to self : Trust no one.

Questions with no answer
I have been a Buddhist. I have been an atheist and now I am learning the teachings of Christianity.
I decided to pursue religion in the past year in the hope of finding an answer to just one question. You may be a Buddhist , Christian, Islamic or a believer of some other religion - everyone believes their God/Guru is the greatest there ever was and that "God is good" .."God loves us all"
What I do not understand is the almighty creator of the universe would allow pain and suffering in the world?
Why would a 5 year old child die of cancer when a drug dealer that exploits the innocent and vulnerable live on to old age?
Why would the almighty creator of the universe allow pain and suffering for those who don't deserve it?
Why can't God give water to those in need instead of watching them die in thirst?
Religion(s) teach us that God created nature. How could God watch half a million people die and millions more suffer in the Tsunami of 2004 ?
My father was diagnosed with a brain tumor in January 2017. In the past 1.5 years his health has suffered to the point he is reaching a point of paralysis. My father never drank or smoked. He has a kind heart and did everything he could have to make his children happy. What could my father have done to go through this?
I have been going to church for the past year praying for his life and for him to live as long as he normally would have before being diagnosed with a tumor. If there is a God above who listens to my, and everyone's prayers. I would like our prayers answered. There are billions (or should I say trillions) of unanswered prayers.

Voyager 1
My favorite video on the internet right now is this - If a made made object 40 years ago is currently 21 billion kilometers away in interstellar space and is still communicating with earth... I mean, that blows my mind.
Just to think what the human race may accomplish in the future when my body is dead and buried in the ground.

Why every vehicle needs a dash cam
People often ask me "Why do you have a dash cam inside your car"?
My response is, and will always be -> "Why don't you have one?"
Defend yourself against insurance scammers. Be wise and buy a dash cam, it will pay off for itself in the long run.
This video (and lots more on Youtube) can give you an idea of why you need a dash cam to protect yourself.

Being an optimist
I always thought of myself as a pessimist. Growing up, I always found it hard to see the positive side of anything that happened in my life, this came to a point where I learnt to accept things as the way they are instead of attempting to make a change.
I'd like to think of myself on the path of being an optimist, I've learnt to see the positive side in failures, chase my dreams and most importantly I see myself as an opportunist.

the downside of my efforts to live a healthy lifestyle.
I just found out that my metabolism is severely damaged through all the massive weight loss / gains ive had through out the past 4 years, in other words ..the "yo-yo"ing of weight loss.
2011 , before i visited Australia for my brother's graduation ; 92 kg, slow and steady weight loss to 80 with calorie deficits and long walks with my dad
2012 , extreme HIIT/cardio workouts, dropped weight to 58 within 6 months.
2013, depression and lack of motivation to work out made me gain weight upto 65 kg from 58. This is the point I started lifting and made some quick progress all the way upto 80kg through dirty bulking at this point i was a fat mess.
2014 , slowly started losing weight, as of 7th of August, 2014, I am at 74 kg.
Note to myself, and advice anyone who is trying to stay fit -> Slow and steady wins the race

Friends.
Having friends is an important of a need as air, water and food. When I'm in a depressed state of mind, I often forget about the wide variety of friends I have in my life, all of whom are unique in their own way.
Everyday, I am thankful for my friends who didn't give up on me and were there for me through the thick and thin.I feel comfortable being myself around those who are just weird as me, and are comfortable with expressing themselves to others.
I often meet strangers who look up at me and go "What's up with your hair? It's weird! Why don't you get a normal haircut?". Whether or not someone expresses themselves clearly to me, I am quick to read their judgmental thoughts on my actions or appearance. You are forever in the red zone, dear strangers.
I wish everyone lightens up a little more, how is it exciting in any way to live a mundane life where you dress, walk, dance and pretty much behave as the same as everyone else? Change is a part of life, the social standards we abide by nowadays is a result of cultural norms, traditions and other standards that have been followed for centuries.
Life is too short, nothing lasts forever, accept change and cherish the friends who have been there for you in hard times.
